Compatibility of .NET Framework and .NET Standard 2.0 versions

Dear GemBox team,

we plan to migrate from the .NET Framework versions of the GemBox DLLs to .NET Standard 2.0.

Do we have to pay attention due to some incompatibilities?

Can we expect that if a method is available in the .NET Standard 2.0 version that it behaves the same as in the .NET Framework version and produces e.g. the same xlsx or docx output?

Hi Thomas,

Yes, in general, that is an expected behavior.

However, note that some features are currently only supported on Windows. Those are printing and saving to XPS or image formats.
