The CropBox is the visible region and is optional, but the MediaBox is not. The MediaBox is mandatory and is used to specify the width and height of the page.
What exactly do you mean by “move the data into place”?
Based on your previous topics, I believe you need to remove the elements outside the bounds of your new MediaBox. Is that correct?
Perhaps it would be easier to understand your exact requirement if you provided some sample files demonstrating your use case.
Alternatively, can you please check the “Resize PDF content” post, I’m guessing that could also be what you’re looking for:
